This is the first time I have seen a cotton bloom! Honestly I didn’t even know the cotton plant bloomed before the bolls came… but today we were driving home from the farm and Luke pointed these out to me. They are beautiful! I love how this picture turned out a bit mysterious and romantic…
I had such an amazing time spending the weekend with the Harper and Shaw families. Words can’t describe how lovely they are! To see more from their wedding weekend in Starkville CLICK HERE <—-
Rice is headin’ out and I’m excited! Fields that were once a deep green in color are quickly lightening to lime!
A very dirty picture filled with greasy farm equipment that has been used and abused for years.
Reminds me of Luke’s jeans after a day at work…
When Kate asked me to photograph her wedding, I was flattered!
Flattered, but hesitant.
I shoot barns. cows. shacks. corn. cotton. mailboxes.
But a wedding? NO way Jose.
Sooo I ended up saying YES. I’m always up for a challenge and turns out…
I LOVE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY!

The End.
I love the Benoit Outing Club. It saves my life on a weekly basis. It closed down for a year after it flooded and I thought the world was coming to an end. The fact that I can drive 3 minutes up the road and get mashed taters and a ribeye for my farm boy makes me one happy housewife.
Did I mention I live in Benoit?
And that the population is somewhere around 500?
And the nearest grocery store is 20-something miles away?
And unless you’re in the mood for honey buns and fried chicken from a gas station, the Benoit Outing Club is going to be your new best friend:)
I always joke around and say that the Benoit Outing Club was the first “country” club ever established. And while all the other clubs kept getting fancier and fancier, we just got more country!
Yee. Haw.
i love shacks.
so much that i live in one.
yep, a shack.
ask any of my friends who have been to my shack…
they’ll tell you–kallie definitely lives in a shack.
how many times can i say shack in one post?
no. no. this isn’t my shack…
